Seeing these people helped me understand why there is a Gay Pride Month, with parades and audacious displays of speech, art, and costumes. The rest of the world MUST see what tremendous contributions are being made by this community.
Religion relies on strong-arm tactics all the time…. Free thinking humanists don’t use those tactics. We rely on conversation, reason, and logic, which can put us at a disadvantage because those are quiet tools compared to manipulation and intimidation.
