Central Florida Celebrants

Humanist celebrants and secular celebrants serve a very similar purpose to that of religious clergy, but without the theology that would be of use only to religious people. As you would expect, non-believers (and anyone else who has a life free from religion) have important times in their lives when they need an experienced orator who can guide them through secular celebrations like weddings, baby naming ceremonies, and coming-of-age events. Celebrants also assist family and friends who are grieving at the end of the life of someone close. Non-religious memorial and funeral services may also be needed at these times.

In Florida, to perform marriages, celebrants have to meet certain legal requirements. Many do, but be sure to discuss these with your celebrant early in discussions.
